Expertise: Dr. Alexander’s research, academic, and clinical interests focus on children. Trained as a pediatric/clinical child psychologist, she has two main areas of interest: children’s social functioning and factors impacting pediatric unintentional injuries and child safety. Recent research activities have examined the impact of social media on mood in adolescents and the impact of maternal anxiety on supervision of children to avoid injuries.
