The Tufts University Department of Education seeks qualified candidates to teach the following courses during the Academic Year 2025-2026.

Position 1: In-Person

ED 257/ED258 Internship in School Psychology. A year-long graduate level internship supervision seminar offered in-person during the 2025-2026 academic year on Thursday evenings

Position 2: Virtual

ED 257/258 Internship in School Psychology. A year-long graudate level internship supervisor seminar offered virtually during the 2025-2026 academic year on Thursday evenings.

Doctorate and graduate teaching experience in the area preferred. This seminar will focus upon the implementation of problem-solving models for identifying and addressing students' academic and social/emotional/behavioral needs and on supporting all aspects of professional practice, including participating in effective site-based supervision. The supervised internship experience focuses on NASP domains of professional practices including consultation, data-based decision-making, counseling, behavioral interventions, and psychoeducational, academic, and social emotional assessment. The use of culturally responsive practice is emphasized. This is a required course for School Psychology graduate students.

 

Qualifications

Doctorate in School Psychology or related degree and clinical practice and successful university teaching experience are preferred. The successful candidate should have experience in school-based and/or clinical practice at the high school, middle school, and/or elementary level.
