My areas of interest and expertise are varied. The focus of my current research examines strategies employed regionally in pursuit of local economic development, as well as a longitudinal study exploring quality of life issues, and how special events contribute to tourism.
Other areas of interest which I am pursuing for future research and publication expand on our longitudinal study surrounding Quality of Life and include: GIS and economic cluster growth, open space and exercise, the relationships between Diabetes and mobility in Essex County, and the sustainability of local foods.
