Expertise: Dr. Pedram's research interests include prejudice and stereotyping, implicit bias, race and inequality, and intergroup processes. Her program of research has examined interpersonal perception as it relates to stereotyping and prejudice, specifically, how people spontaneously attribute cognitive and emotional capacities to other people, depending on their perceived group membership.
