In addition to Lexington’s main campus, we have a satellite campus at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
To continue to advance our support infrastructure for CoSW, we invite applicants for 9-month, tenure eligible, Assistant Professor positions in the Regular Title Series to begin as early as January 2025 or August 2025.
Successful candidates are expected to develop and maintain a strong record of high-impact scholarship (e.g., publications, presentations, etc. and a dynamic, externally funded research program). In addition, successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates with research/teaching interests and expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: clinical practice; behavioral health; substance use disorder(s); child welfare; interpersonal violence; health disparities; community engagement; and/or, differential system impacts among underrepresented groups. Minimum Requirements
MSW (or equivalent) and PhD in Social Work or a related field (ABD will be considered)
Strong potential for producing high-quality scholarship and securing external funding
Ability to foster, develop, and/or maintain positive professional relationships with local, state, federal, and private social service agencies/organizations/associations
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
