The Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for an Open-rank Tenure-Track Position in Counseling Psychology. This is a nine-month appointment to begin August 1, 2025. Salary, fringe benefits, and initial operating support are competitive with other leading land-grant universities. Application review begins September 12, 2024, and continues until the position is filled.

The UK Counseling Psychology program espouses a scientist-practitioner model of training with particular emphasis on social justice, advocacy, and multicultural perspectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach counseling psychology graduate courses, including our course in social justice consultation and evaluation; additional teaching opportunities may be available in courses such as legal and ethical issues, qualitative methods, and/or practicum seminar. Mentor master’s and doctoral students, supervise dissertations, and provide professional service, including community engagement. Maintain an active research program and seek extramural research funding. Area of research focus is open with preference given to individuals whose program of research centers around social justice and complements current faculty expertise.
