The Department of Education at Tufts University is seeking a full-time Lecturer to join our highly collaborative, NASP-approved School Psychology program, starting in Fall of 2023. Teaching responsibilities may include courses in assessment, school-based mental health, counseling and other direct services, and seminars supporting students during their practicum and/or internship years. Additionally, faculty members advise graduate students, participate in curriculum, program and  Department of Education development. Students in the Tufts program earn an Ed.S. degree and participate in course work and field placements designed to prepare them to work independently as school psychologists. Commitment to culturally-responsive, social justice practice is a core value of the program. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.

Qualifications: A doctoral degree in School Psychology, Psychology, Education, or related field is required. Significant experience working as a school psychologist, and experience supervising and/or teaching at the university level, are preferred. Applicants for this position should have experience with evidence-based interventions, behavioral and mental health support in a school setting, knowledge of contemporary practices in School Psychology, excellent communication skills, and a record of excellence in teaching and/or mentoring.
