The research in my lab involves using measured single nucleotide polymorphism as well as sequencing data to gain insight into the genetic architecture of psychiatric disorders; and modeling and simulating genetically informative designs that better enable us to understand the causes of human differences. Our long-term goal is to bridge behavioral, evolutionary, and statistical genetics to elucidate the genetic underpinnings of psychiatric disorders. I am looking for potential graduate students or postdocs interested in developing innovative methods to better understand the genetic architecture of complex traits.
