Expertise: I am currently completing a book (with Alan Gerber and Conor Dowling) entitled Unhealthy Politics: The Battle Over Evidence-Based Medicine In the United States. The book is forthcoming from Princeton University Press. The research for this project has been supported by grants from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Smith Richardson Foundation.

Other recent projects include the performance of Congress as a problem-solving institution and a national survey of physicians on the role of medical societies in promoting healthcare quality and cost control.
