  • My professional interests involve designing easy-to-use, adaptive human-machine interfaces using a human-centered approach. My background in Human Factors and user experience allows me to understand and measure individuals’ behavior when interacting with human-machine interfaces. During my experience at Jaguar Land Rover, I have worked on the design of HMI for voice systems, warning systems, infotainment systems and crash prevention systems. I have also been heavily involved in the design of the HMI for NHTSA level 3 and 4 vehicles. My current role at the University of Utah involves performing usability testing of the vehicles' HMI. In particular, my work focuses on developing a framework to measure drivers’ interaction with vehicles’ HMI and using such metric to measure user performance and its impact on safety. One of my main research areas also involves investigating human physiology for more accurate driver monitoring systems
