Expertise: The base of my research explores various lecture cues used by teachers that promote student notetaking, cognitive learning, and heightened affect. I am currently initiating projects exploring the topics of speech evaluation, strategies of speech preparation used by students, and the role of academic service learning in students` identity construction.
