Broadly speaking, his research and teaching interests center around the topics of cultural psychology, wise reasoning, and social class. Alex’s primary area of study involves cultural change and understanding the processes behind why individualistic cultural practices have been increasing across the globe. He is also interested in investigating the different cognitive strategies people can use to facilitate pragmatic, wise reasoning over difficult social situations.
