Her research interests include intimate partner violence, HIV, mindfulness and the role of faith-based organizations in social service provision. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at a number of conferences at the international, national, and regional levels. Dr. Learman is happy to be at Meredith College and is looking forward to working with her colleagues to expand the social work program, create opportunities for students to engage in practice as well as research opportunities, and build meaningful collaborations with the community.
