Dr. Madrigal's research, scholarship, grant writing and community service interests include but are not limited to: direct practice (e.g., trauma, addiction); mental health and social justice policies and programs that could impact the delivery of services to ethnic/racial minority groups, focusing on the Latino population in the U.S. and globally; human rights violations (e.g., refugees, political asylum, human trafficking, immigrants); international social work, and cultural diversity/multiculturalism
