Expertise: Werner's research interests include health and wellness issues with older adults and adolescents, and mental health disaster preparedness. She served on the planning committee for the Empowering Young Women conference in St. Louis, MO and continues her interest in female adolescent leadership and mentoring serving on the planning committee for the Young Women's Leaders Program through the Auburn University Women's Resource Center.
