Home to Australia’s first program accreditation by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand, the School also facilitates this country’s only combined qualification in traditional planning practices and environmental science.

Student profile
In just his second year, Aidan Brotherton secured a position with the Cities Research Institute where as a research assistant he was able to learn from leading experts from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds.
‘I discovered the value of good research principles and how critical industry engagement is in research. I also helped run a major conference in the field of transport and land use research, including preparing field trips to see busways, ferries and light rail systems in South East Queensland.’
