  • Full-time Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor and Clinical Program Co-Director of School Psychology

    The Department of Education at Tufts University is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor and Clinical Program Co-Director to join our highly collaborative, NASP-approved School Psychology program, starting in Fall of 2026. This position provides the opportunity to sustain and develop a thriving program in school psychology. The Clinical Program Co-Director will play a leading role in our Ed. S. program, and will collaborate with a Co-Director in the management and administration of the program (for example, admissions, student progress monitoring, curriculum development, ensuring the alignment of the program with accreditation standards).


    The Clinical Program Co-Director will also oversee student field placements, ensuring that students have access to robust and meaningful practicum and internship experiences. In addition to key leadership responsibilities, this position offers the opportunity to advise graduate students and to teach courses that align with the candidate's expertise and departmental needs, contributing directly to the education and professional growth of the next generation of school psychologists. Commitment to culturally-responsive, social justice practice is a core value of the program.


    Qualifications


    A doctoral degree with a specialization in School Psychology is required. Experience working as a school psychologist and significant experience teaching at the university level are preferred. Applicants for this position should have a knowledge of contemporary practices in School Psychology, excellent communication skills, and a record of excellence in teaching and mentoring.
