The successful candidate will join as a part-time research assistant to assist with the day-to-day tasks of the research project. This position requires task-orientation, excellent organisational skills, attention to details and accuracy, good interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently. As the successful candidate will be involved in all parts of the research project, this position is a great opportunity for any candidate who hopes to develop their research skills (behavioural and cognitive testing, data management, data analysis, transcription etc).  

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist with data entry, cleaning, and management to ensure data quality and integrity.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with university requirements for data management.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct telephone interviews with parents and/or guardians to complete questionnaires.

  
  


• 
  

  Transcribe interview data accurately.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform other duties of a similar nature as designated by the Principal Investigator.

  
  


• 
  

  Commit 14 hours of work each week

  
  

Job Requirements:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related social science discipline.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent organizational and administrative skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and adapt flexibly to changes in timelines or project goals.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data is advantageous.
