School of Social Sciences is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow/Research Associate. The Research Fellow/Research Associate will be a key member of the project team involving research on education, internship and employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Conducting research on topics related to education and employment outcomes.

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with the collection and consolidation of individual level data on internships and graduate employment.

  
  


• 
  

  Compiling, processing, and analyzing data using statistics and econometrics software such as STATA and R.

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing sections of analysis, writing manuscript drafts, and grant proposals.

  
  


• 
  

  Working with relevant institutional units to obtain and understand the data and results.

  
  


• 
  

  Liaising with individuals outside the team to handle any administrative work regarding the project.

  
  

Job Requirements:

• 
  

  PhD or Masters in Economics specializing in Applied and Empirical Economics.

  
  


• 
  

  Good research, communication, and management skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently.

  
  


• 
  

  Good track record in relevant research and a healthy line of papers and work-in-progress.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in empirical research, particularly research design, empirical methodologies, and scholastic writing of journal articles.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent data analytics and econometric skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in econometrics software such as STATA and R.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with project management and grant applications is preferred.
