    Tufts Interdisciplinary Evaluation Research (TIER) comprises a group of researchers committed to conducting high-quality, collaborative program evaluation aimed at improving policies and programs for children, families, and communities.     We are looking for mixed methods research analyst to support TIER’s portfolio of mixed methods research and evaluations. The research analyst should have some experience conducting program evaluation, and supporting research projects including designing and administering surveys, cleaning and analyzing survey data, recruiting participants, conducting interviews and focus groups, organizing and coding qualitative data, conducting literature searches, and drafting reports and presentations. The person should be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously.  Please note that this is a limited term position through August 31, 2022.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Participate in qualitative research tasks, including leading focus groups and conducting one-on-one interviews, as well as coding, interpreting findings, and preparing summary reports using qualitative software
    Conduct data cleaning and organization (e.g., creating codebooks) of quantitative/qualitative evaluation data from a range of sources
    Write IRB applications, and help to manage the application process
    Conduct literature reviews, including searching, screening, summarizing, and synthesizing academic journal articles and grey papers
    Contribute to the conceptual development of qualitative/quantitative research questions and evaluation plans
