    Antioch University New England

The Clinical Psychology Department at Antioch University New England (AUNE) invites applications at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the core faculty in our APA-Accredited Clinical Psychology Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program, and to direct the Antioch Multicultural Center for Research and Practice.

The successful candidate will have completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology, and be licensed or license-eligible in NH. We seek candidates who will contribute to AUNE’s training, service, and scholarly traditions. We particularly invite candidates who will enhance the racial, ethnic, nationality, or cultural diversity of our program community.

We seek a candidate with clinical, teaching, and scholarly expertise in the areas of cultural diversity and social justice. The successful candidate will also assume leadership of the Department’s Multicultural Center for Research and Practice. The Department promotes multiculturalism within a social justice orientation. The term multicultural is applied broadly to include issues of minority and marginalized status, as related to race, ethnicity, culture, nationality status, class, use of English as a second language, gender/gender identity/gender expression, sexual identity, disability, religion, spirituality, and age.

Core faculty are expected to demonstrate achievement in the areas of student engagement, scholarly activity, and service, including administrative functions within the department and university. We seek candidates with the vision and potential to become future program leaders. This is a full-time, benefitted, 12-month position with academic rank and paid vacation. Opportunities for up to one day per week of professional practice are also available.

About the Department, Campus, and University
AUNE’s PsyD program has been accredited by APA since 1986. We follow (indeed, were instrumental in developing) the Practitioner-Scholar model of training as described by the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology. We have 12 full-time faculty and seek approximately two dozen students per cohort. Our students complete four years of full-time study, practica, internship, and a dissertation. The Clinical Psychology department includes three training and service centers: the Psychological Services Center, Center for Behavioral Health Innovation, and the Antioch Multicultural Center for Research and Practice. Our graduates fulfill multiple professional roles as reflective practitioners, integrating our core program values of relationship, evidence-based practice, and social justice and diversity.

Antioch University New England, one of five regional campuses, uses a distinctive graduate education pedagogy that mixes rigor with experiential learning and social engagement. AUNE is located in beautiful Keene, NH, two hours from Boston.

Antioch University is a singularly accredited, multi-campus, coast-to-coast institution of higher learning that provides learner-centered education to empower students with the knowledge and skills to lead meaningful lives and to advance social, economic, and environmental justice.
