Assistant Professor – Sociology and Criminal Justice (5-year Limited Term)

OVERVIEW
The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for an up to Five-Year Limited Term position at the Assistant Professor Level beginning on September 1, 2019. Preference would be for candidates who can teach Introduction to Criminal Justice, Crime and Delinquency, and Corrections. We are open to candidates with an interdisciplinary background who can also teach Introductory to Sociology along with the potential to teach specialty topics.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must hold at least a PhD or ABD status for Assistant Professor or Instructor ranking, respectively. The degree should be in Sociology, Criminology, or closely related field (J.D. or L.L.B. is not sufficient).
