The Department of Political Science at the University of North Texas invites applications for a Lecturer position beginning fall 2019. We are interested in prospective candidates who will teach our American government courses online, an honors section of American government and capstone course in the fall semester, and other courses required by the department in the spring.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities that include teaching core and upper-level undergraduate courses, and provide service to the department, college, or university. The teaching load is 3/3.
The Department of Political Science at UNT is a highly productive department with 27 faculty members who are committed to excellence in both teaching and research. It offers BA, MA/MS, and PhD degrees. Faculty in the department have previously edited the American Political Science Review, International Studies Quarterly, and Journal of Political Science Education, and is the current home of Religion and Politics.
