Faculty Position in Health Management and Policy: Instructor. The College of Public Health and Human Sciences at Oregon State University has an opening for a full-time Instructor to begin September 16, 2023. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Public Health, with primary responsibility in the Health Management and Policy program, and will provide service to the Program, School, College, and/or University in the form of committee work and participation in faculty meetings.
Examples of courses to be taught include: Introduction to the Health Care System, Introduction to Health Care Management, Financial Management of Health Care Organizations, Economic Issues in Health and Medical Care, and Strategic Management in Health Care Organizations. A master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, or MHA) or doctoral degree in Public Health or a closely related field by the employment start date is required. At least one year of college or university level teaching experience in health care management, Public Health, or related field is also required.
