The Department of History and Political Science seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor in Political Science to begin August 1, 2022. Candidates with the demonstrable ability to teach America Government and Politics and African-American Politics courses are especially encouraged to apply. Ability to offer courses in Comparative Politics and International Relations and interest in coadvising students in the Political Science honors program as well as the Pre-Law program is desired.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching four classes (12 hours) per semester
Engaging in scholarly research
Serving on committees
Performing other duties as assigned by the department chair
Applicants should be new or recent PhD graduates by August 1, 2022.
