Job Summary:
Simmons University is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Simmons School of Social Work. Reporting to the Principal Investigators of externally funded grants, the Project Coordinator will provide organizational and administrative support for initiatives designed to increase the behavioral health workforce capacity in integrated, interdisciplinary health care teams and, ultimately, to increase access to behavioral health care for underserved populations.

Responsibilities:

Research Support
  • Assist with preparation of, and implementation of, data collection
  • Assist with data management, including data entry
  • Assist with identifying potential funding sources
  • Coordinate grant writing efforts and assist with submission
  • Develop and maintain a grant proposal calendar


Communications
  • Coordinate communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create marketing materials
  • Develop, maintain, and update website content


Calendar and Meeting Coordination
  • Schedule meetings and arrange conference calls
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including location reservations and equipment
  • Prepare meeting materials and presentations
  • Draft and distribute meeting agendas
  • Take minutes and distribute the minutes
  • Support the team as needed


Administrative Operations
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning
  • Coordinate professional development trainings


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience with project coordination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Experience with MS Office and Google Apps for Education is required
  • Experience working with federal grants is preferred
