The Psychology Program at St. Edward's University is seeking qualified applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek candidates with a commitment to undergraduate education and mentoring, strong communication skills, and collegiality.

The successful candidate will join an active department to teach four courses per semester, advise undergraduate students, pursue faculty development efforts, and participate in the wider life of the university and community. The successful candidate will also be expected to establish and maintain a program of research that incorporates the participation of undergraduate students as collaborators. Teaching responsibilities will vary according to area of specialization and department need.
Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field required. Strong commitment to, and potential for excellence in, undergraduate teaching and collaborative research with students is required. Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required.
