Department Summary
The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas has three undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Arts (BA), a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Business (BBA) as well as a Masters of Science (MS). We also have a joint undergraduate and graduate certificate with Geography. We have eleven tenure-track faculty and five lecturers.
UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to teach sections of Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, as well as some upper-division courses in Economics. The candidate should have interest in teaching on-line classes as well as face-to-face.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master in Economics or related field.
