The primary purpose of the position is to provide instruction in school counseling and other core counseling courses for Master’s degree counseling students. Primary duties and responsibilities include teaching graduate level courses in school counseling and core counseling areas. Providing advisement, internship supervision, and service to the department, college, and university committees.
The successful candidate must: (1) articulate and pursue a pertinent research agenda that produces manuscript publications in top-tier journals with high-impact factors in the discipline area, (2) procure extramural funding from foundations, businesses, corporations, and agencies that support the research agenda, and (3) facilitate presentations at well-respected international and national conferences or meetings. Serving on dissertation committees is also required.
This is a nine-month tenure track position.
