We are inviting applications from highly research-active candidates for full-time Assistant/Associate and Professor positions in Psychology. While we welcome applicants from any area of psychology, we are particularly interested in applicants with an expertise in areas such as Educational Psychology, Sports Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical and Counselling Psychology as well as other areas
of Applied Psychology The potential candidate may be expected to teach foundational/introductory as well as advanced level courses.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching, advising students, participating in faculty colloquia, and academic administration. A Ph.D. (completed or nearing submission) is required at the time of application. Additionally, we expect that a successful applicant will:
1. Undertake independent high-quality research as well as work actively with existing members to build a strong interdisciplinary community of scholars who are committed to delivering cutting-edge research and innovation
2. Participate in curriculum development, student advising and service at department/school level. Experience in learning management systems (Blackboard, Moodle, etc) and advanced instructional technologies to improve both online and offline learning is highly desirable.
3. Demonstrated commitment to translate research findings into evidence-based practices, programs and policies
4. Sustained commitment to the principles of social justice, inclusion and diversity.
