Lecturer 10 Months
Psy.D. Program - to teach and mentor students in the APA- and NASP-accredited Psy.D. program in combined school and clinical psychology and the NASP-accredited master’s/professional diploma program in school psychology. The candidate will also be expected to assist with administrative tasks (e.g., related to admissions, accreditation and applied training) across both programs.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology or a related field and a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required. A doctorate degree in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology or a combined degree in a combination of these specialties is preferred. Applied experience (for at least three years) in the practice of school and/or clinical psychology is desirable.
This is a ten-month, full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position effective for the Fall 2023 semester. Teaching assignments may be assigned at any of Kean’s New Jersey locations - Union, Ocean, Princeton, Skylands or for Kean Online and may include day, evening and weekend courses. The primary location for this position is at the Union campus. Evening hours are required for teaching graduate course assignments.
Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. Proficiency in a Learning Management System is required, consistent with University guidelines.
