The Psychology Department at Tufts University in Medford, MA is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach an undergraduate course in Statistics for Behavioral Sciences (PSY 31) in the Fall 2023 semester. This course is an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics and includes instruction on using statistical software to analyze data. The class is scheduled to meet Monday and Wednesday, 4:30-5:45 p.m., with additional instructor responsibilities including planning lab section lessons, supervising teaching assistants who run lab sections, holding weekly office hours, communicating with students over email, and determining and submitting final grades.

Qualifications

Candidates with a Ph.D. in psychology are preferred, although ABD graduate students may be considered. College-level teaching experience is required.
