We are seeking a dynamic faculty member who can help shape OSU’s new Portland Hub. This will be a 12-month Instructor position to start June 1, 2018. This Instructor will have responsibility for teaching a full load of courses in Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS). Pending approval, HDFS will be one of the first programs to be offered entirely on-site in a new central location in downtown Portland beginning in Fall 2018. This Instructor should be experienced in teaching classes in person and online, and will be actively involved in course development. Courses will be offered in hybrid and online formats. The particular array of our program’s courses to be offered by the Instructor will include life-span developmental and family HDFS undergraduate courses. PhD degree (or ABD) in HDFS or related social or behavioral science discipline is required.
