The Assistant Research Professor/Project Manager position responsibilities will include coordination with the Principal Investigator/Project Director on all management, supervision, and evaluation of staff, graduate and undergraduate assistants, as well as research activities, in connection with a funded applied research project that involves the implementation of community education and evaluation. This is a twelve-month, non-tenure track, limited term faculty position. Extension is dependent upon continuation of funding. The person in this position will coordinate with the PI/PD and provide the day-to-day direction, management, and implementation of the multi-site Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education (AHMRE) project with responsibility for compliance with all Auburn University and federal policies and procedures, and ensure that all federal reporting obligations are met. This position will coordinate with the evaluation research team and be actively engaged in research design and implementation, analyses and writing, and dissemination of research results. Involvement with and guidance of graduate and undergraduate student research work is included. Significant administrative tasks are required, including budgetary management and oversight, staff supervision and evaluation, coordination of trainings and meetings, coordination with community agency partners on contracts, programming, and data collection, and reporting to funder and stakeholders.
