The Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track, regular title series position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in our APA-accredited Counseling Psychology Program to begin August 16, 2020. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The UK Counseling Psychology program espouses a scientist-practitioner model of training with particular emphasis on social justice, diversity, and multicultural perspectives. Responsibilities: Teach graduate courses in counseling psychology, including personality and cognitive assessment. Mentor master’s and doctoral students, supervise dissertations, and provide professional service, including community engagement. Maintain an active research program with evidence of and continued potential for extramural funding. Area of research focus is open with preference given to individuals with social justice/multicultural focus.

Qualifications: Doctorate in counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, eligibility for licensure in Kentucky, evidence of successful teaching and mentoring, record of research indicative of strong trajectory toward tenure and promotion at a high research productivity university. Experience securing extramural grant funding is highly desirable.
