The Department of Psychology (https://psychology.as.uky.edu/) in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a non-tenure eligible Lecturer position to begin August 1, 2022. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month
faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and forpromotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. The position involves teaching three classes persemester and providing advising services to junior and senior psychology majors. We seek applicants with a commitment to undergraduate education. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of undergraduate courses and be able to serve as an advisor to psychology undergraduates. We are eager to further advance the diverse quality of our faculty. The anticipated distribution of effort will consist of 75% teaching and 25% service.
A PhD in psychology is required.
