NYU Shanghai seeks to fill a tenured or tenure-track position in Psychology with expertise in either Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Psychology. The search is not restricted to any rank and outstanding candidates at all levels are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a cross-cultural approach and/or a focus on China are particularly welcome as are candidates who in their research address topics related to gender and sexual identity, or legal or forensic psychology.
Candidates must hold a PhD in Psychology (or expect it by the start date); must have a record of excellent research and publications or presentations appropriate to career stage; and must have demonstrated teaching excellence and an interest in teaching in a diverse, international setting. Experience and interest in teaching Psychology in a cross-disciplinary setting is appreciated.
