The University of North Texas (UNT), Department of Social Work invites application for a nine-month tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor rank, expected to begin early August 2020. UNT recently launched a Joint Masters of Social Work (JMSW) program in partnership with Texas Woman’s University (TWU), the first of its kind in Texas. The successful candidate for this position will have primary duties in the JMSW program. We seek candidates to provide creative, engaged instruction in graduate social work courses, pursue an active and collaborative research agenda, and contribute to the ongoing development and administration of the JMSW program. The successful candidate will be teaching in an advanced generalist curriculum across traditional and online/hybrid classrooms. There will be ample opportunity to shape the new JMSW program, add value to the existing curriculum and create lifelong learning opportunities for social work practice communities.
