Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for four tenure track faculty positions in the School of Psychology, to begin in August 2020.
We are seeking candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service who will embody our emphasis on student success, impactful research and developing global citizens. Ideal candidates will have evidence of potential to: a) develop and maintain a productive research program that is nationally recognized via high-quality peer-reviewed publications, external funding, and professional presentations; b) provide strong teaching, mentoring, and advising to a diverse population of graduate and undergraduate students; and c) contribute to and participate in the mission of the programs and college.
Founded at the dawn of the Space Race in 1958, Florida Institute of Technology is the only independent, technological university in the Southeast, and offers degree programs at undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. Located two miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean in Melbourne, FL, Florida Tech mixes the excitement of rocket launches from nearby Kennedy Space Center with the laidback atmosphere of a beach community. The School of Psychology has a collegial and productive faculty with multiple undergraduate programs, as well as graduate programs in I/O psychology and clinical psychology (PsyD).
