Michigan State University: Associate/Full Professor Position in Reducing Racial/Ethnic Disparities and Increasing Access, Equity, and Opportunities for Marginalized Youth
The MSU Department of Human Development and Family Studies seeks a full-time, 9-month, tenure track faculty position in the rank of Associate or Full Professor. We seek a scholar whose program of research focuses on adolescents, emerging adults, and families from diverse racial-ethnic, and/or immigrant backgrounds, aiming to reduce racial/ethnic disparities and increasing access, equity, and opportunities for underrepresented minoritized youth, including immigrant youth through better understanding of individual, family and community factors that place youth at risk, especially within the juvenile justice, immigration, child welfare, education, or other systems. Community-based research is especially welcome. A successful candidate will have a strong record of research funding or demonstrate potential to secure research funding, high-impact peer-reviewed publications, evidence of and dedication to mentoring diverse students preparing for careers in research, policy, and/or practice.
