Postdoctoral Fellowship in Psychology
$40,000 to $42,000 annually, depending on experience
The Counseling & Testing Center (CTC) at the University of Idaho is offering a full-time, 12-month, non-recurring post-doctoral fellowship. The postdoctoral fellowship is designed for clinicians who are interested in a college or university counseling center career and who are seeking additional training in individual counseling, group psychotherapy, outreach and prevention. The activities of the postdoctoral fellow, including supervision, will be tailored to facilitate licensure as a psychologist. There will be an opportunity to work with a wide range of diagnostic issues and experience the full range of direct services offered by a university counseling center, including psychological assessment. The postdoc will serve in a liaison role with a campus partner and provide outreach and consultative services that support the CTC's mission on campus.
Completion of doctoral internship prior to starting date
Earned Ph.D or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology (ABD considered)
Experience conducting individual counseling with young adults
Demonstrated commitment to multicultural competency
APA accredited doctoral program and/or internship
Completed doctoral degree
Experience in college or university counseling centers
Experience in crisis intervention, outreach, consultation, substance abuse, and/or psychoeducational assessment
