Her research endeavors coalesce in the areas of spirituality and counseling, diagnosis and treatment, and counseling student clinical performance. As co-author of the DSM-5 Learning Companion for Counselors, Dr. Karl’s current research pursuits focus on efficacious diagnostic assessment.
