Dr. Kinsey is a biomedical researcher with specialized training in behavioral neuroscience. His strong research interests in modulating stress and emotionality led him to obtain postdoctoral training in cannabinoid pharmacology. His current research interests on the effects of stress and endogenous cannabinoids on pain and emotionality is evidenced by a publication record in a broad range of journals, including work on stress, inflammation, emotionality, and neuropathic and inflammatory pain models. The ultimate goal of his empirical work is to identify targets for the development of new pharmacological treatments for inflammatory and emotional disorders in humans.
