Dr. Duncan has a broad range of research interests in the general area of pediatric psychology. She is interested in developing and examining family-based interventions for improving regimen adherence in youth, particularly during the transition of regimen responsibility from parents to youth. She is also conducting research that employs electronic monitoring of medication/treatment use to examine the volitional non-adherence to medical regimens. These studies have focused largely on children with pulmonary disorders (asthma, cystic fibrosis).
