Linical assessment and formulation, children and youth who engage in sexual abusive behaviours, conduct problems and youth offending, the interface between youth offenders with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities and the youth justice system (e.g., Fitness to Stand Trial) and substance use amongst youth offenders. I have an interest in the area of treatment for youth offenders, particularly strengths based rehabilitation approaches. I am also interested in the clinical and epidemiological factors that have an impact on how services engage with young people and their whanau and how services can respond to these issues
