Her research interests include trauma, mental health, and addictions. Currently her work includes research on vicarious trauma, trauma, and establishing trauma informed systems of care in university and community agencies. Her research includes a multisite investigation of vicarious trauma and empathy in MSW students, the impact and frequency of trauma in a university setting, and the impact of spirituality in the recovery process in addictions recovery.
