    Job Description Summary


    The Social Work Program within the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at Auburn University invites applicants for a non-tenure track, twelve-month renewable position at the Assistant Clinical Professor level with appointment beginning May 1, 2024. The candidate’s primary teaching assignment will be within the MSW program working with students on campus and online. In addition to teaching a 3-3-1 course load, the candidate will also be involved in field liaison activities and service to the department, college, and the academic and professional social work community. Additionally, the candidate should be committed to outreach within the social work profession.

     


    Minimum Qualifications


    Applicants must have a MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program, five years professional, social work practice experience, and an LCSW or equivalent at the time of appointment.

    The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills required.


    Desired Qualifications


    Candidates with university teaching experience, community training facilitation, field liaison experience and those working in child welfare, health care, criminal justice and/or military social work are encouraged to apply.
