The principal role of the Postdoctoral Research Associate is to work on the NSF ADVANCE Institutional Transformation Project entitled "Making WAVES (Women Valued and Engaged in STEM): Disrupting Microaggressions to Propagate Institutional Transformation." Duties include: (a) coordinate institutional interventions targeted on reducing gender, race, and ethnicity-based microagressions, (b) conduct research and share findings.
The WAVES project is housed within the UMass Lowell Center for Women & Work. CWW is a vibrant and multidisciplinary community of scholars who are dedicated to the Center’s mission to advance knowledge about the relationship between gender and work through research, enhance understanding of this relationship through education and training, and challenge inequalities, particularly through institutional change.
This position is contingent upon funding.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-PhD in a social science field and track record of publications in social science
-Experience using quantitative and qualitative social science research methods
-In-depth understanding of subtle bias and the related scholarly literature
-Ability to work as a team player and work effectively with diverse groups
-Strong technical report writing, communication, and facilitation skills
-Ability to represent the project to varied audiences
The position of Postdoctoral Research Associate will involve working under pressure to meet strict deadlines
