The SPA seeks a scholar with teaching interest and experience in a substantive public policy area (e.g., urban, environmental, health, transportation, welfare policy) and/or policy analysis and evaluation methods.

The MPA program, which is accredited by NASPAA, is designed for those with career interests in public management, health and human services, government, and other public service and nonprofit organizations. It prepares students for careers in the public sector, in government-related businesses, and in non-profit organizations, as well as for graduate work in the fields of law, public administration, criminal justice, public policy, political science, and health care administration.

The SPA offers additional undergraduate programs in Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Health Policy and Administration and additional master`s programs in Criminal Justice, Health Administration, and Homeland Security.
