The DI is licensed as a national institution of higher education by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar.
The mission of the Psychology program is "to train world-class academics through equipping students with a strong research foundation and the professional skills necessary to understand human behavior and to apply new knowledge, tools, and research to the solution of individual, societal, and organizational problems, particularly in Qatar and the Arab region.
